Quality, audio and carousels

Reels and Posts are saved as MP4 with the original AAC audio track. Most modern Reels are 1080×1920 at roughly 30 fps; older posts can be 720p or lower depending on when they were uploaded. dlyt.io does not upscale — what you get is what Instagram serves.

Carousel posts (slide groups) return every slide as an individual file. Image slides come out as JPG; video slides as MP4. There is no quality penalty for the per-slide split; the underlying files are the same ones Instagram's app would download.

Limitations to know about
